Warner Bros. Pictures Internationa yhteistyöhön kahden uuden edustajan kanssa Pohjoismaissa

Teatterielokuvien levitys siirtyy Svensk Filmindustrille Suomessa (FS Film Oy), Norjassa ja Tanskassa sekä Fox Internationalille Ruotsissa.
Warner Bros. Pictures aloittaa yhteistyön kahden uuden Pohjoismaisen edustajan kanssa, jotka levittävät studion tulevat teatterielokuvat 1. huhtikuuta 2011 alkaen. Fox Internationalin kanssa tehdyn sopimuksen myötä Warner Bros. Pictures saa yhteistyökumppaniksi myös Svensk Filmindustrin, joka edustaa Foxia Suomessa, Norjassa ja Tanskassa. Asiasta kertoi Monique Esclavissat, Warner Bros. Internationalin Executive Vice President, Europe and Latin America Distribution.
”Mukana oli monia vahvoja ehdokkaita, joten tämä ei ollut Warner Bros. Internationalille helppo päätös, mutta uskomme löytäneemme elokuvillemme parhaan mahdollisen kodin jokaisella eri markkina-alueella,” Esclavissat sanoi.
”Olemme erittäin onnellisia tästä strategisesta kumppanuudesta Warner Brosin kanssa Tanskassa, Suomessa ja Norjassa,” sanoi Rasmus Ramstad, Svensk Filmindustrin toimitusjohtaja. ”Warner Bros. on viime vuosina ollut yksi menestyksekkäimmistä studioista ja haluamme vahvistaa sen asemaa entisestään näissä kolmessa eri maassa.”

WARNER BROS. PICTURES INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS WITH TWO NEW LICENSEES IN THE NORDIC REGION

Distribution to be split between Fox International in Sweden and Svensk Filmindustri in Norway, Denmark and Finland
Los Angeles, CA, December 15, 2010 — Warner Bros. Pictures International has partnered with two Nordic licensees to distribute the Studio’s upcoming product commencing April 1, 2011. Under the new arrangement, the Studio has forged deals with Fox International, with which the Studio enjoys strong partnerships in other parts of the world, in Sweden; with Svensk Filmindustri handling Norway, Denmark and Finland. The announcement was made today by Monique Esclavissat, Executive Vice President, Europe and Latin America Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures International.
“With so many viable contenders, this was not an easy decision for Warner Bros. International, but we feel we have chosen the best home for our product in each specific market,” said Esclavissat. “We are looking forward to a fruitful ongoing partnership with Fox and to build a new mutually rewarding venture with SF.”
Paul Higginson, Fox’s Executive Vice President EMEA, said, “We are delighted with the extension to Sweden of our mutually successful and enduring distribution relationship with Warner Bros.”

The deal comes in the wake of the reorganization of the Studio’s longstanding licensee, Sandrew Metronome, announced three weeks ago.
